1st blog 1st entry
This is my 1st ever blog and 1st ever entry
This blog will be dedicated primarily to Toronto Blue Jays 2B Baseman Aaron Hill and the anything else related to the Jays.
I just wanted to start by saying that I think Aaron Hill is awesome. I think he's great defensively with potential to be even as good as Alomar was during the '92 and '93 campaign. I'm not sure he is as naturally gifted as Alomar. Certainly he lacks Alomar's knack in stealing bases. However offensively, Hill has really come into his own as he tied the single season homrerun record for a Blue Jays secondbaseman. 47 doubles to lead the team, 150+ hits and 85 RBIs and a .291 average. Not bad at all. As a fielder, he has shown Alomaresque type moves. He ranges both to his left and to his right very well and has shows a real understanding of the position and quickness I haven't see since '93. I think he really has potential to become a Gold-glove winner some day.
